Ben Collins is the Lead for Policy Alliances in Biogen’s Public Policy & Government Affairs office, based in Washington, D.C. In this role, Ben leads strategic engagement with patient advocacy organizations, public policy stakeholders, and industry partners to advance access to innovative therapies and shape health policy at the federal and state levels.
Ben brings a decade of experience at the intersection of patient advocacy, public policy, and biopharmaceutical innovation. At Biogen, Ben has played a key role in coalition-building efforts across therapeutic areas to drive meaningful change for patients. He regularly represents Biogen at national conferences and policy-oriented forums. Prior to joining Biogen, Ben held positions at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), Pfizer, and the United States House of Representatives.
Ben received a BA from St. Joseph’s University. He resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife Beth and their young children, Emilia and Jack.
