Dmitri Siegel is Director of Strategic Alliances, Government Affairs & Policy at Bristol Myers Squibb. He is on the Board of the Emily Whitehead Foundation and is also Vice President of the Board of Directors for the State Government Affairs Council (SGAC). He has worked in Government Affairs and Alliance Development for the last twenty years (since 2005) in roles that include: State Government Affairs, Federal Government Affairs, Political Action Committee (PAC) Management, Public Affairs, Alliance Development and generally all aspects of Corporate Affairs. He has a broad background, spending the significant portion of his career in the Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical industries. A partial list of Dmitri’s past employers include: Celgene, Abbott Labs (now AbbVie), Boehringer Ingelheim, Solvay, Avon, The Peninsula Hotel and the United State Senate Press Gallery.
He enjoys playing basketball and is an avid stair climber and has personally raised over $10,000 competing in events that benefit organizations like the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The most notable buildings he’s climbed include the Empire State Building and the Freedom Tower (1 World Trade). He has been featured in a New York Times article in part for his enjoyment in stair climbing. Most of all, Dmitri is proud of the work he does to help create a pro-patient, pro-access environment that supports innovation and future cures. Being focused on building authentic relationship has been the highlight of his career. He lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife Alexis and their two daughters, Aleena and Delila.
