Maimah Karmo is the President and CEO of Tigerlily Foundation, a national women's health and advocacy organization dedicated to empowering women, improving health outcomes, and advancing equity across the healthcare continuum. A 20-year breast cancer survivor, Maimah founded Tigerlily after experiencing firsthand the challenges patients face navigating diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
Under her leadership, Tigerlily Foundation has become a trusted voice in patient advocacy, working alongside patients, healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders to address disparities in cancer care and expand access to clinical trials, education, and support services. Through innovative programs, policy initiatives, and strategic partnerships, the organization has reached millions of women, particularly women of color and underserved communities.
