Registration

Patient Advocacy Qualifications:

Patient Advocacy Organization (PAO) registrants are reviewed to confirm that the PAO is a registered 501(C)3/4 and that the attendee is employed by or is a confirmed representative of a PAO focused on improving health outcomes for patients with a specific disease or group of diseases (i.e., rare disease, autoimmune disease).   

Approved and confirmed PAO registrants will receive a confirmation email verifying their eligibility for complimentary registration within (3) business days of submitting the registration form. Those not approved for complimentary registration will receive instructions on how to register as a general attendee (registration fees will apply for non-member companies).

Government Qualifications:

Eligibility for Government Employees: This registration is exclusively available to full-time, active employees of federal, state, or local government agencies.  To register, you must use your government email address.  To request a complimentary registration code, federal government employees must provide proof of a Common Access Card (CAC) or Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card.  State and local government employees must also provide an official government identification card.   

Please note that government contractors or adjunct faculty are not eligible for complimentary registration and should register at the non-member rate.  It is the responsibility of the attending government employee to obtain the necessary clearance from their agency’s ethics office. 

To request a registration code, please email the Registration Team at CustomerCare@bio.org, you must include a copy of your CAC/PIV.  Allow three business days from the receipt of your request to receive the registration instructions.
